NOTE: UPC barcodes are “American standard” retail barcodes, most common in the USA & Canada. If you are selling your product(s) primarily in the USA/Canada please purchase this type of barcode. If you are selling your products in the Suriname or anywhere else outside of the USA/Canada please purchase “EAN-13 barcode package” instead (EAN-13 is the “European standard” for retail barcodes). The difference between UPC and EAN-13 barcodes can be seen here. Please note that you can use either type of barcode (EAN or UPC) anywhere worldwide because they are both compatible with all retail systems. If you are selling your product in multiple different countries you just need one barcode on each product (your choice of either UPC or EAN), and you can use that same barcode anywhere in the world.
