If you have more than one barcode number, please separate each number with a comma. We will then send you an email asking for proof that you own the barcode numbers. Please enter your barcode number(s) in the &#8220;additional information&#8221; section when you get to the check out page.<\/p>\n<p>Once we receive your order for Barcode Registration we will email you to request proof of ownership (so that we can verify that you are the owner of that barcode number). The benefits of barcode registration are below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Barcode registration makes it easier for some cell phone scanner apps (e.g. the Zebra app) to link your barcode to your product information when your barcode is scanned. <a href=\"https:\/\/surinamebarcodes.com\/barcode-scanning\/?lang=en\">Click here<\/a> for more information on barcode scanning apps.<\/li>\n<li>Barcode registration improves the presence of your product on the internet. If your barcode number is searched in Google (or another search engine), your product information will appear in the results.<\/li>\n<li>When your barcode is registered on international online databases it discourages others from using your number illegally on websites (eg. on Amazon). If people know &#8211; from a quick online search &#8211; that your barcode is being used and that it is visibly linked to a particular company\/product, they are less likely to choose to take that barcode number and use it illegally themselves. We stress that it is illegal to use (without authorisation) any barcode number that belongs to another person or company. However it is frustrating when illegal barcode use happens, and can be a hassle to sort out. Barcode registration protects against this risk. Barcode registration helps to reduce the risk of this happening in the first place.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Barcode registration is included with our barcode packages.
